Programming is hard

Programming is great fun (mainly with Ruby ;-). However, this statement does not contradict with the fact that sometimes programming can be also hard. I came across a nice site today which can offer some help in these moments: Programming is hard. Judging from the size of Ruby/Rails/ActiveRecord tags (there is even a script.aculo.us tag!) it seems that it has a nice dose of Ruby/Rails stuff - solutions for common problems and also links to tutorials, frequenty asked nuby questions etc. Be sure to check it out!

   Except with a different name and content. Is it developed by the same guy? Why have two different sites with the same purpose and design?

   I’m the developer of Snippets and the maintainer of the ‘main’ repository at bigbold.com/snippets/

   I know the guy who launched programmingishard.com and he even offered to forward it to the main Snippets site

   However, Snippets’ source has been available to certain people and that’s just how a default Snippets install looks There’s another version at http://www.textsnippets.com, for example.
